Many actors struggle to land that first big gig because casting directors don’t get to see them in that blockbuster film. At Reel Blockbuster we feature your actors on screen in a way never before possible.
Their performance is transferred directly onto a 100% photoreal DIGITAL DOUBLE – preserving timing, emotion, and voice – inside cinematic worlds that would normally require a Hollywood budget.

How it Works
You pick a script from our custom library.
Custom scripts provided by the Scriptos screenplay collective.
We provide a simple shooting template.
An actor is directed by their teacher through the scene while video and audio is recorded.
You provide several images of the actor for constructing their digital double.
Reel Blockbuster edits and converts that footage into a Hollywood-level scene complete with VFX, SNDFX, scenery, costumes, special effects and even post-makeup!
DIGITAL DOUBLE
Actor Tyrone Van Tatenhove drives his digital double:
“Rysing Starr” but to play Emma Starr’s father he was aged up
10 years with digital ‘make up’.
DIGITAL REPLACEMENT
Actor Kimberly Moriarty drives her digital counterpart:
“Emma Starr” a young-adult aged 14-17.
She is aged down (# of years? I absolutely did not ask!)
The Example
Performed by real actors in a small, empty room with gopros.
There were no sets, costumes or special equipment. Simple room lighting, lightweight tripod setup and a single room-microphone.
A pick-up performance was even captured later on an iphone.
The actor’s true performances were faithfully transferred to the characters on screen.

The recorded performances can be applied to multiple genres using the same simple setup.
